Welcome to Chestnut by the Sea, an exquisite Bali-inspired beach house in the heart of Carlsbad village, designed by the renowned designer Shirley Slee. Our vision was simple: to create a sanctuary where guests can bask in ultimate luxury while enjoying the serene beauty of the seaside. This vacation destination includes everyday essentials paired with elegant amenities including outdoor entertaining spaces, bbq, firepit, swings, outdoor shower, sauna and bikes for use. Inside take rest in one of three bedrooms (two with King beds, one with two single beds).
